Sehnsuchtsvolle Balladen und gutgelaunte Ohrwürmer, Alternative-Country und Singer/Songwriter-Melancholie - all das kommt zusammen in der Musik der Karlsruher Band No Sugar, No Cream.
Über ihr aktuelles Album "Promises" hieß es im „Rolling Stone“: „Jeder Song ein Lagerfeuerleuchten.“ Das Stadtmagazin „Klappe auf“ hörte ein „kleines Meisterwerk“. Die CD erzählt in zwölf Songs vom Ende der Versprechen. Aber auch von deren Anfang. Und nicht zuletzt davon, dass selbst nach dem Ende der Versprechen etwas bleibt: die Musik.
